Please read this before you fly with ClearProp. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Advisory only
ClearProp is a situational-awareness and planning aid. It is not approved or certified by Transport Canada, the FAA, EASA or any other aviation authority, and it is not a certified electronic flight bag (EFB).
Do not use ClearProp as your primary means of navigation, terrain or obstacle clearance, traffic avoidance, weather assessment, or airspace compliance.
The pilot in command is responsible
The pilot in command is solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, for preflight planning, and for complying with all regulations and air traffic control instructions. Nothing in ClearProp changes that.
Data currency
- Airport, airspace, frequency and procedure information may be incomplete, delayed or out of date, especially offline data you downloaded earlier.
- Always check current official sources before and during flight: charts and publications for your region (such as the Canada Flight Supplement and VFR charts in Canada), NOTAMs and weather briefings.
- GPS position, ground speed and altitude shown by your phone can be inaccurate or lost, and your phone can overheat or run out of battery.
- Logbook drafts are prefilled from recorded data. Review every entry before you save it.
If ClearProp and official sources disagree
