Can I navigate with ClearProp?

ClearProp gives you advisory navigation context: your position on the route, next checkpoint, ground speed and nearby airports. It is not a certified EFB or primary navigation source. See the aviation disclaimer.

Does it work without cell coverage?

Prepare your route for offline use before departure while you still have a connection. GPS works without cell service, but map areas and airport data you did not prepare may not be available in flight.

Why does ClearProp need my location?

To show your position, find nearby airports and record your flight track during a navigation session. Location is only used while the app is open; ClearProp does not track you in the background. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do logbook drafts work?

When a navigation session ends, ClearProp prefills a logbook draft from the recorded flight. Review and correct every field before you save it. Transport Canada and FAA logbook formats are supported.

What happens to community routes I publish?

Other pilots can view and save a copy. Your recorded GPS track is never published. If you delete your account, your published routes are removed; copies others already saved stay with them without a link to you.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. If you can no longer sign in, follow the steps on the account deletion page.

How do I report a bug or wrong airport data?

In the app, open Settings and choose Report a problem. It attaches the app version and device details, never your location. You can also email support@clearpropeller.com.
